Three of my illustrations were selected for publication in CMYK Magazine's Summer 2008 issue due to hit newsstands in July! Here's my winning entries, a nicely mixed bag with one promotional piece, one Rabid Rabbit Cover, and one editorial illustration for The Stranger. Thanks CMYK!

The Illustrated Letter

Yesterday was an event at The New York Times, a show of four decades of Letters Page illustrations. These small vignettes got a great showcase on the walls and I was thrilled to see three of my pieces in there. They even blew up one of them into this giant size (the diabetes illustration with the syringe). Many thanks to all those lovely people at The Times!

New York Times Op-Ed Illustration

I had the pleasure to illustrate an Op-Ed by the great Paul Auster for today's New York Times. It's about the student protests at Columbia University in 1968. Today, on the anniversary of the sit-in, Auster tells it from his own perspective since he himself was part of it. You can check it out here.

While surfing the interweb I recently came across concepts for enormous cruise ships on which you can buy luxury condos and appartments for permanent residence. This was a fascinating concept to me, and lead to this little drawing.
