BusinessWeek


Illustration for BusinessWeek, for an article about ways to measure the efficiency of print ads. By comparing lists of subscribers to lists of e.g. Geico customers, a company called Logic Lab tries to cross-reference how many readers actually pick up the phone after reading an ad. The story was unfortunately killed, but I still had a blast doing it. Many thanks to Senior Art Director Don Besom!

Thanks, yes I tried to bring in some of the watercoloring here. Wanted to express the conceptual / fantastical nature of the image by using colors that are less graphic and hard-edge.
