Ferry Illustration

This is for Scandlines, a large Ferry Company in Europe. I did a cross-section drawing of one of their ferries last year, and now they had me do a new version with some additional elements and modifications. I've attached some close-ups so you can see a bit of the details. Thanks to Henkel Kommunikation in Hamburg.

The Barrier

This is from another new shortcomic called "The Barrier" that I've finished recently. It's a black and white 2-pager and will be available in my very own Casual Comics.

Software Advertising

Here's a little project I finished recently for the German virus protection manufacturer Avira. It's about those emails you get that are pretending to be from your bank, or ebay, or paypal, and of course they're FAKE! The most secure thing is, obviously, to delete them nasty emails.

Type Workshop

Thanks to Marshall Arisman, his students and the MFA Illustration program for the great opportunity to teach the Type for Illustrators workshop this and last week. I had a blast, and I hope everybody enjoyed it as much as I did.

Holistic Commuting

This is from a new 3-page comic I've been working on recently, called Holistic Commuting. It's for my upcoming Casual Comics No. 2, which will include some brand-new and unpublished shorts, some newly translated work that was done for Germany, and more. Due to come out for the MoCCa Festival this summer.

MFA Illustration Type Workshop

A drawing for the NYT Book Review, illustrating Brooklyn Was Mine, an anthology in which some of the borough's writers ruminate on arrival and domestic survival in this emergin haute bohemia. You can read the entire article here.
